Mission 01 / Brand and content architecture
American Cannabis Company — From Page Builder to a Coherent Brand World
A previous website and Elementor site becomes a Hugo build organized around the company’s original product lines, store locations, and authentic artwork.
Before: the content was spread across a page builder.
The previous website installation used Elementor, custom product and store fields, separate brand pages, and external ordering links. Brand artwork and product information were spread across the media library and page layouts.
After: the business has a coherent content architecture.
The Hugo rebuild organizes stores and product lines as structured content. The company’s own packaging artwork, photography, and logos carry the visual identity. Product discovery and store discovery have clear destinations, while external ordering remains an external service.
| Starting point | Rebuild |
|---|---|
| Elementor layouts and custom fields | Markdown content and shared templates |
| Brand and product information repeated | A consolidated product-line structure |
| Original artwork buried among media variants | Authentic media selected and presented deliberately |
| Existing previous website URLs | A recorded URL inventory and migration map |
What this proves.
The before and after demonstrate a working change in content structure, navigation, image presentation, and brand expression. The rebuild shows how a business’s existing assets can become a system that is easier to understand and maintain.
The delivered scope shown here is the website and content architecture. The Hugo version is in owner review.
